Returns & Exchanges

Please keep in mind these are vintage items!

Though we stock only the finest pieces in the best possible shape, these are vintage items and do sometimes show expected wear. Please do not expect absolute perfection when purchasing 40+ year old furniture and accessories.

If there are any glaring issues, they will be noted in the description. Otherwise please see our very detailed pictures for condition and assume there will be a few minor signs of their many decades of service. We try to give you as much visual information as possible, so please be sure to closely view the photographs.

All pieces are meticulously cleaned and most disassembled to do so, if applicable. Great care is taken in making sure that there will be no surprises when purchasing from I Like MIke's, just the joy and benefits of a time when everything was made better.

The industry standard for antiques and vintage items is that they are not returnable. However, as a courtesy to our customers, we offer a 14-day return policy. Shipping and restocking fees apply, so please consider your purchase carefully.


If an item arrives in a compromised condition, please contact us immediately. We stand by our items.

If it's just that you have changed your mind, here's the deal:

To be eligible for an exchange (or a refund) on an item, your item must be returned to us in the same condition that you received it. That means that, in most cases, it can be immediately restocked without new photos being necessary. You will be responsible for the costs of shipping the item back to us, and you will also be responsible for our original cost shipping it to you. (We absorb shipping costs on sales, but we cannot absorb shipping costs on returned sales.) We also charge a restocking fee of 20%. Please keep in mind that we are a small business and not a big, nameless and faceless corporation selling mass-produced cheaply-imported items for whom returns are part of the giant machinery.

As a re-cap, for buyer's remorse returns:

-They must be returned to us in the same condition they were shipped to you.
-You pay the shipping back to us, and if we shipped the item to you for free, our original shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.
-We will charge a restocking fee of 20%.

CLOCKS: Please read the section on this site called "About Vintage Clocks" before making your purchase. Communicate with us immediately if your clock is not keeping time when it arrives. We do not sell clocks that do not keep time. In almost all cases, we can offer you guidance on what to do to encourage your vintage clock to work properly.

If your item is damaged in shipping, please take photographs of the damaged packaging before completely removing the item AND KEEP THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING! We always purchase the insurance when shipping; because we pack everything very carefully, we are confident that if there is in fact damage to your item, it was sustained during transit through no fault of ours, and therefore the insurance claim will be honored.

Our policy for damaged items lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange or a refund for any reason, including damage sustained in shipping.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or exchange. If a refund is in fact in order, it will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 30 days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
