This is an impressive table sculpture of a girl with eyes closed and locks flowing, seemingly in acrylic resin that has been resurfaced to create an opaque effect while still conducting light. It has a quality not unlike the acrylic works of sculpture Frederick Hart, though this piece is not signed and we do not know its origin. There is one small divet in the hair and a few other minor blemishes, but otherwise the piece is in good condition. The color changes with the light; it is translucent and gold-toned. A striking sculpture.
