Two great California industries come together in this terrific wall hanging: sundried raisins and Hollywood movies. Before they were replaced with paper ones in the 1940s, wooden trays held grapes as the sun turned them into raisins. Before they were replaced with newer models in the 1950s, Humphrey Bogart and Mary Astor starred in epic movies like The Maltese Falcon, one of the most famous films ever made (and featuring another California asset, San Francisco). This is a vintage movie poster printed on a genuine raisin tray, circa 1990. It’s ready to bring many layers of history to your wall. Sturdy, rustic, pretty, very cool!
