I Like Mikes Mid Century Modern
$899.00
The RCA Championships existed for ten years, in Indianapolis—but in their short run, they were pretty sensational. In its time, it was a star-studded lead-up tournament to the U.S. Open.
This framed, limited-edition silkscreen print likely hung at the Indianapolis Tennis Center during the tenure of the event. It is signed and numbered by the artist, and was professionally framed in Indianapolis. The richly colored, partially abstract painting captures the energy and excitement of a tennis serve, while small and highly-detailed embossed images of tennis stances completely surround the center image. Along the bottom, an embossed image of the Indianapolis skyline is subtle yet quite impressive.
Overall, the condition is excellent. There is one small section on the upper right where the paper has come outside of the matting (see photo); otherwise, there is little to note. This is a large piece of wall art that will make quite an impact for lovers of tennis, Indianapolis, or just cool wall art.
