Matted behind glass, metal frame, signed in plate and hand signed
This is a beautifully matted and framed print of Umbrellas at Nikko, a lovely painting by famed Seattle-based water-colorist and teacher Perry Acker, marking an artist trip he took to Japan in the 1960s. The print is both plate signed and then hand signed by the artist when it was offered for sale, circa 1980, under the supervision of the artist himself. Acker was well known for his mastery of the water color medium, despite not becoming a serious artist until his late 40s, and for his legendary teaching skills. The AWS after his name stands for American Watercolor Society.
This framed piece is in very good condition and ready to enhance your home with its beauty.
