Though there is some mid-century styling at work here, this is a contemporary hand blown glass lamp still available today from Kinzig Design. It features an ornate brass base, a hand blown glass body, solid brass and copper hardware, glass bead pulls, and a distinctive hand printed silk asymmetrical shade. Each lamp is engraved on the bottom with the artist’s mark.
We have two available, and they are what is known as NWOT, or “New Without Tags”, meaning they are unused and in new condition. They are available for $800 from the designer; we are offering them at a savings of $225 each, plus free domestic shipping.
Here is what the designer says about this lamp, called Isabella:
Isabella is an elegant lamp with a distinctive asymmetric shade. Its brass base has deep rich green blown glass with metal stripes around the neck of the lamp. The striking shade is covered with green silk taffeta that has been hand screened with ginko leaves. Isabella has a single bulb socket and is finished with a beaded pull and finial.
36" H; Shade is 14" W x 8" D x 18" H; Base is 6" diameter
