I Like Mike's Mid Century Modern
$199.00
The timeless beauty of oranges! This is a truly special and very old watercolor painting, rectangular, small yet eye-grabbing, a piece you can see being perfect for a kitchen or dining room nook. The artist, Charles W. Barrett, was a noted architect in North Carolina and later New Mexico (where this painting was found). He died in 1947 at the age of 78, but since he was born in 1869, this painting is perhaps older than 1930, conceivably even from the 19th century.
The frame is metal, probably from the 1980s.
