Even in the age of Google, it is surprisingly difficult to suss out the difference between an antelope and a ram, or an antelope and a gazelle. Something about goats vs. deer, etc. etc.--believe me, it will suck up your time. Be they antelopes or gazelles (we basically ruled out rams), these solid brass mid-century bookends are quite sleek and elegant. The brass shines beautifully. There are a few minor chips in the marble which are definitely there, but do not detract from the overall impact. In great shape overall, they are very heavy and very stylish.
