A lovely watercolor of a classic artist's subject, the cityscape. Which city? Who knows, though of course Manhattan always comes to mind. There is some sort of railing at the bottom, as if the city were being viewed from the other side of a river (in Brooklyn?)...or maybe just from a balcony. Whatever the case, we particularly like the blues and greens and peaches--not a dark brooding painting, this one. There are some faint water marks in the sky (pictured) but they do not detract. The framing is brand new (from Brooklyn's Make A Frame), with acid-free matting and wood frame.
