Re-crafted by Mike to save a worthy lamp that was otherwise finished, this elegant counter balanced desk lamp is a great mix of old and new, with lots of function to go along with the cool form. Made of glass and brass, it features an eyeball shroud that began life on another mid-century lamp but is perhaps even better with this one. It also has a new socket, which uses an LED GU10 bulb, the equivalent of a 50watt halogen, but without all the heat. (LED bulbs also last virtually forever and uses very little energy.) All new wiring continues on the theme of “best of both worlds”, and the seamless movement up and down will make you happy when you need to bring light to your task in style.
