See that gold? It's GOLD, as in 24 kt plate! We have always admired the beauty of the mid-century Jefferson Lady Marion Clock but we've been holding out to offer just the right one--in great condition and telling time. Sometimes you have to make your own luck: we replaced the motor on this gorgeous specimen, so its functionality now matches its good looks and all you have to do is enjoy it. The gold-plated metal case is intentionally heavy so as to double as a paperweight--a helpful addition to your desk when the windows are all open. Whatever extra cord you don't use can be rolled up inside the nifty (patented) base. Please note, there is still a very low hum to the motor, the kind most clocks once had.
The Lady Marion originally sold for $22.95 retail, which when you calculate for inflation is about what we're charging today. If you'd like to read more about this model, there is lots of great information on this blog post by Roger Russel: http://www.roger-russell.com/jeffers/jefmar.htm
