There were some visual themes that were returned to again and again in the middle of the last century. The ship is such a theme. Honestly, this is one of our favorites, for obvious reasons. That orange and black is just so arresting, and the bold strokes of heavily applied paint on board have charisma. Who is Sartos? Your guess is as good as ours, but his work lives on. In excellent vintage condition, in an ornate wood frame that has held up quite well.
