This painting is mesmerizing and definitely leaves you wanting more. More is not easy to find on surrealist painter Jose Manuel Capuletti, a contemporary of the much more famous Salvador Dali, with whom he was often compared. This framed print on textured board, a work called New Horizons, is an original print--sanctioned by the artist--from the early 1960's. It is quite rare. The condition is not pristine but it is decent, and the blemishes and minor stains do not detract from the compelling nature of the saturated colors and fascinating dynamic of this trio. Original wood frame, textured board that gives the piece much of the depth of the original work.
