This little set hails from a narrow sliver of mid-century time when Japan was making our trinkets for us. What the tray lacks in substance (it is very light weight) it makes up for in campy style. The little shakers have never been used, perhaps because they are so totally impractical as actual salt & pepper shakers...but to borrow a real New York phrase, they have chutzpa all the same. Darn cute.
Tray is 4.75" W x 2" D; Shakers are 1.5" H x 2" D
