Before founding his own company in 1967, the young Robert Sonneman spent time perfecting his craft by working with modern lamp master George Kovacs. Though you would never know by its excellent condition, this orange & black Sonneman & Associates TAK lamp dates from the early 1970s. It is extremely rare and definitely a show-stopper -- true eye candy for those who appreciate modern design and even those who didn't know they did. Happily, it is also 100% functional and adjustable. The chrome arm sports the original foil label; the orange plastic shroud articulates in several directions. The interior diffuser is completely intact, and there is one tiny chip to the bottom back of black plastic base (pictured) which doesn't detract or affect its performance in the slightest. An amazing treasure indeed!
