This is a very elegant mid-century take on the mantel clock, made by Semca in solid brass with clean modern lines and just the right amount of flair. The circle is quite striking in its thinness, perched as it is on that just-a-bit-ornate brass base. The silver face and gold of the brass contrast nicely. The hour markers are numbers, plain and simple, and exceedingly cool. The movement has been replaced with a new old stock battery movement. Keeps time well. There are surface blemishes on the face that do not detract from the overall impact, but should be noted before purchase. A substantial clock.
Face is 7" Diameter;8.25" H, Base is 7" L x 2.25" D
