I Like Mike's Mid Century Modern
$299.00
When painter and printmaker John Kelly and his artist wife Kate moved from San Francisco to Hawaii in 1923, they thought they would stay one year. They then fell in love with the place and people, and they never left. Kelly’s beautiful representations of Polynesians set him apart and made him quite beloved by the people of Hawaii. The image of this Polynesian woman in a red dress is one of his most famous. The original blue wood framing, the color of a tropical ocean, provides a gorgeous contrast to the red. Print on textured board. Condition is quite good, with no issues to note. A great piece!
