Call it a lighted sculpture or a sculptural light. Either way, it is a very unique floor piece that looks like something from a movie set of the future. You know, the Hollywood future, where everything is fabulous and we all wear (and look terrific in) the same form-fitting jumpsuit.
And yet, this lamp is no prop. It is well-made and structurally sound, featuring copper and aluminum and glass. Mint condition. It uses a small bayonet 110 volt bulb and does not adjust. The artist who fashioned this impressive lamp did not sign it, too bad. Maybe because he or she needed to get back to the film shoot.
