Living in New Orleans
1974 The Preservation Resource Center 1984
The Preservation Resource Center in New Orleans must have commissioned this impressive architectural slice of life from famed painter Tore Wallen in 1984 as part of their 10 year anniversary celebration (we're happy to see they are still going strong). Mr. Wallen is originally from Norway but made New Orleans his home after attending Tulane University in the 1970's. This professionally framed lithograph is signed and numbered by the artist.
Metal frame under glass, with matting that is cut out to accommodate the art in a careful and interesting way, surely overseen by the artist himself.
There is a small chip in the lower right corner of the glass, so hidden by the frame that it is almost imperceptible--if we didn't tell you, you wouldn't see it. (See photos)
