A lifelong friend of Elvis Presley's, mayor of Memphis, the sheriff who arrested MLK assassin James Earl Ray...Bill Morris is on the short list for "The Most Interesting Man You've Never Heard Of". This handsome Cross pen is a gift from his office to--well, you, in a round about sort of way. Never used, it is essentially new yet dates from at least the early 90's. After an 1960's stint as Mayor of Memphis, Mr. Morris became Mayor of Shelby County in 1978 and served until 1994. In addition to his illustrious name, the pen bears the impressive seal of Shelby County Tennessee. We have two of these handsome never-used Bill Morris pens. This one is marked "For Women", and has its own little carry case for said woman's purse.
