This classic 12" floor globe from the year 2000 stands 32" high on a pretty turned wood pedestal. The durable metal base can be unscrewed and the whole thing can convert to a desk/table globe if that would serve you better. The globe features "gyro-matic mounting and calibrated full meridian"...and we even sort of know what that means. It also says "Celebrating the New Millennium", which dates it a bit, in a fun way, while still being quite current in a geopolitical way. A globe is a terrific addition to any home, and this one has much going for it.
