This is a very intricately wrought and detailed solid brass table sculpture of a Roman warrior in battle. The piece is in excellent condition and will be for centuries to come. The marble base shows some minor wear in the form of chips around the edges, but it does not compromise the overall appearance. There is no maker's mark, so we can only make an educated assumption that this is a mid-century replica of an ancient masterpiece, made in small scale the better to sit on your impressively on your mantel or desk. Heavy, as you would expect.
