You've seen his work, you just might not have known his name. David Edward Byrd is an American graphic artist, designer, illustrator and painter who helped define the look of rock and roll music starting in the 1960s. This vibrant poster in purples, reds and yellows is right in his wheelhouse, though we don't know exactly what year it was or who this enchanting woman is. But does it really matter? Our guess is it is from the 1980s. The original aluminum frame shows some surface wear but the print itself is in good condition. The fact that it is square like a vinyl record album cover is no mistake.
