I Like Mike's Mid Century Modern
$199.00
An actual person, Aristide Bruant was the stage name of a famous vaudville-style Montmatre-area star in 1880's Paris. He was one of the first friends the artist Henri Toulouse-Lautrec made when he began hanging out in the night clubs of Montmatre. Toulouse-Lautrec would soon immortalize Aristide Bruant by featuring him in several posters he had been hired to create to advertise the neighborhood's nightlife...posters that are still admired today, nearly 150 years later.
This large high-quality vintage poster is itself about 30+ years old, on cardboard, in good condition and ready to frame.
