This is a pair of ancient Greek scenes, as depicted in the late 1700s. They are art gravure prints that have been hand-tinted by the capable artists at Sungott Art Studios, a mid-century décor company that sought to bring art to the burgeoning middle-class after World War II. Beautifully framed with tooled leather and ornate gilded wood frames, behind glass, they are a total package.
