This color blue is in a league all its own--just mesmerizing. Each one of these hand blown Polish vases is unique and yet they are also wonderfully the same. While it still looked like honey the liquid glass (made blue with the element cobalt) was blown into a vase at the end of a blowpipe, then its slender neck was delicately twisted into this interesting shape before cooling and hardening slowly into its true color.
