This gorgeous set is classic mid-century and yet it has its own unique presence. The deep earthy colors and asymmetrical stone shapes are quite timeless, actually, and very pleasing. Leave it to the Japanese to take the mid-century mosaic trend to another level of beauty. There are three pieces in the set, two bowls and a plate, so certainly they can be displayed separately or together. We're not sure that they are food safe for hot food, but cookies etc would likely be just fine. Heck, in the 50s when this set was made, they let children to play with dry cleaner bags and mercury, so relax already and have another cigarette with your scotch.
Plate: 11.5" Diameter; Large Bowl: 10" Diameter; Small Bowl: 7.5" Diameter
