This classic Jere table sculpture is rich with texture, dimension and wit. Though it dates from the early 1970s, the anchor looks ancient with patina as if it spent decades in salty water. The birds have a bit more of coppery sheen to them, having instead passed their days flying the maritime skies. Since all that flying makes you tired, it is handy to have an anchor around on which to find a restful perch. Made as it is from gorgeous unfinished marble and coppery bronze metal, it is as solid as the day it was created. Metal sculpture removed from base for easy transport.
