On July 23, 1981, possibly in Seattle where it was eventually framed in wood with a double matt, this print was made. Was the artist also interested in theatre, hence the subject, which probably depicts an actual production of The Fall of Antigone? We do not know, and likely never will. Happily, the print speaks for itself, a fine rendering in black and white, beautifully framed behind glass and ready to enhance the artistic pedigree of any home (i.e. make you look smart and cultured).

Condition is very good, no damage or discoloration on the print, only slight wear on the wood.
